Delhi — A new exhibit entitled Patriotism & Propaganda: Posters of the First World War will open Friday, Nov. 9 at the Delaware County Historical Association (DCHA). An exhibit-opening wine and cheese reception will take place at 4 p.m.
To mark the end of World War I, 100 years ago this November, DCHA is displaying a sampling of its historic posters from the era. Come view approximately 20 posters, each of which either exhorts the young (men and women) to join the cause or asks that everyone buy bonds to ensure an allied victory.
Admission to the opening reception and to the exhibit is free. On display in the Elijah Thomas Gallery until February 28. Open Monday – Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
DCHA is located 2.5 miles north of the village of Delhi on State Hwy. 10.
